Comment on Adagio For Strings
By: Twopop
Date: 22 Feb 2008
Rating:
John Morris composed and conducted the score for Elephant Man, performed by The National Philharmonic Orchestra in London.

Track 10 - "Adagio For Strings" (by Samuel Barber) is performed by The London Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Andre Previn. The piece is heard here in its entirety.

Barber's famous work, although written in 1936, blends seemlessly with Morris' score, which captures the essence of the 1880's, locations, and true story of John Merrick.
